“It was a dark dingy room with only one window to look out at the parking lot. Big old comforter on the bed which look like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The staircase and the rugs going up to the second level look like they had been worn for many years and never cleaned or vacuumed. At least the bathroom towels were beautiful the bed was comfortable and the sheets were at least clean. Not the best location in town! From the pictures that look like everything was in the same area as a hotel but...

“There was no one for check in. The description of the length you would have to walk was inaccurate. I went at 8:13 am for breakfast and the girl in the cafe was clueless as to if they had postcards, if they sold bags of ice. I asked about breakfast and she told me that they were still preparing it. They opened at 8 am and it was a breakfast burrito. The tiny cabin was perfect though.”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. I booked this hotel through Expedia for my husband while he was traveling to Salem during WOU graduation weekend. The reservation was confirmed, and we received multiple confirmation notices leading up to his stay. When my husband arrived to check in, he was informed that the reservation had been canceled.
